PHP : Function Reference : IRC Gateway Functions : ircg_oper

ircg_oper

Elevates privileges to IRC OPER (PHP 4 >= 4.3.3, PHP 5 <= 5.0.5)
bool ircg_oper ( resource connection, string name, string password )

ircg_oper() will authenticate the logged in user on connection as an IRC operator.

Parameters

connection: A connection resource handle returned by ircg_pconnect().
name: The operator account name. Must be a registered IRC account.
password: The password associated with name.

Return Values

Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure.
